Jericho Mountain
Orchards is a restored 110 acre farm dating back to the 1680's. The
fields, planted with corn and winter wheat, change with the seasons.
The terrain is variable and includes flat, hilly, and sloping areas
with tracts of woods
interspersed. Set in the midst of this rolling farmland is a compound
of buildings enclosed by stone walls: the main house, carriage house,
and stone/frame barn. All of the buildings are historic, of stone and
frame construction, and are surrounded by award-winning perennial gardens.
